Tate was the runt of the litter. He appeared to be underdeveloped and was much smaller than his littermates. He lived one day. Josephine loved him very much and did everything she could to keep him warm and comfortable while he was alive.

Found roaming the streets of Chicago in November 2007, Josephine and her boyfriend, Langston were looking for a warm place to have their puppies. A friend of Bark Avenue scooped mom and pop up off the street and searched to see if anyone was looking for them. With nobody claiming the dogs, Bark Avenue took them in so that 'Mama-Jo' would have a comfortable place to give birth to her babies.

Josephine, Langston and all 6 puppies have found loving homes thanks to everyone who helped us spread the word. Another big thanks goes to Laura Witherow for taking great photos of the dogs with their new families!
